ABOUT ST. GEORGE

Located in southwestern Utah, St. George is home to more than 80,000 residents (approximately 150,000 residents in Washington County) and offers the amenities of a much larger city. Want to take in world-class musical theater and concerts? Check out Tuacahn Amphitheatre and its setting in dramatic red rock Padre Canyon. Looking for music and other performing arts? A variety of locally-based and visiting groups of all genres perform throughout the year. Want to cheer on a university sports team? We’ve got that, too. Plus an art museum, wide range of restaurants, adult continued learning classes, participant sports opportunities, outstanding medical care – St George has it all. Nearby Cedar City, about 45 minutes north of St. George, expands the nearby entertainment offerings, including their renowned annual Shakespeare Festival.
