LATEST NEWS & GRACE UPDATES
On Saturday, November 14, Grace will hold our 2nd annual rummage and bake sale. The sale will begin at 10:00am. All tables will be set up outside, so we can keep safe social distancing.
Come check out the offerings, and pick up some treasures and home-baked goodies to take home.
While the coronavirus social-distancing protocols are in place, Grace Episcopal Church will have the following worship service schedule:
- Sunday Holy Eucharist at 10:30am via Zoom. An email will be sent each Friday with dial-in information. If you don’t receive the email, please contact the church office or Father Tom. This service also can be attended in person by a maximum of 20 household units (individuals who live together). If you wish to attend in person, please register via the link found on an email sent from the church each week, or call the church office.
- Morning Prayer at 10:30am on Tuesday and Thursday in the chapel. This service can be attended by a maximum of 10 household units. Each service will also be posted for a brief time on our Facebook page.
- Holy Eucharist at 10:30am on Wednesday and Friday in the sanctuary. This service can be attended by a maximum of 20 household units. If you wish to attend, please register via the link found on an email sent from the church each week, or call the church office.
Once social-distancing restrictions have been eased, Grace will re-assess the days and times of worship services and will post a revised schedule, so check back for updates.
Other options are available for viewing Sunday worship services online. The Episcopal Diocese of Utah is live streaming Sunday worship services and has recorded Morning Prayer services available as well. Many other Episcopal churches also provide live streaming and/or recorded worship services. Last Sunday we prayed Psalm 121: “The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time on and forevermore.” (Vs 7-8)
Even with the Pandemic, I still urge us all not to panic.
Remember, Jesus took Jarius’ daughter “by the hand and said to her, “Talitha cum,” which means, “Little girl, get up!” And immediately the girl got up and began to walk about (she was twelve years of age). At this they were overcome with amazement. He strictly ordered them that no one should know this, and told them to give her something to eat.” (Mark 5: 41-43)
We will be ok. Tom+
